WAYS TO GET RID OF SPIDERS IN
THE BATHROOM
Spiders love
to be in the areas where there is a lot of dust settled. They prefer looking
for hideouts in dark spaces from where they cannot be seen. One such area in
the house is the bathroom. Cleaning the ceiling in the bathroom can be a daunting
task and is mostly ignored. Spiders easily crawl into the bathroom and make
their hideouts on the ceilings, behind the electric water heater, under the pot,
behind the toilet paper, the toiletries stand and even the wash basin. You
might sometimes even find them on your towels and toothpaste and toothbrush in
the bathroom.
The best way
to combat the entry of the spiders into the bathroom is through proper cleaning
and maintainence.Every week using a long handle duster clean the ceiling in the
bathroom, behind the water geyser, around the lights and all the walls to
remove dust and any webs formed by the spider.
Use the
shower in the bathroom to spray and clean the hard to reach areas such as under
the pot, under the wash basin and the walls.
Keep your shampoos,
toothpaste and toothbrush covered.
Regularly
spray spider repellent that can be easily bought from grocery stores or make a
natural repellent at home using peppermint oil, lavender oil or eucalyptus oil.
Spiders hate
the smell of these natural repellent. They feel suffocated with the smell of
the repellents which will propel the spiders to crawl out of your bathroom and
will eventually driveway the spiders from your house.
